INTERNATIONAL COMPUTER ARTS

4 10 2014

The international Festival of Computer Arts/ IFCA 2014 wraps the 20 years of research up. This year marks the 20th anniversary of research of bright but also dark sides of computer art, which has never been so convenient, but at the same time, and perhaps because of it, so complex. Looking to the future, the development of technologies, techniques and computer art pushes the boundaries of impossible and moves forward with global steps.

The festival has successfully navigated from its beginnings, in 1994, till the present day, to the point 2.0, which is not only the interactive break point of the modern World Wide Web and the ways of its usage but also the point when the IFCA is turning into the third decade, and thus completely intermedia period.

On the Opening Night Nonotak and Marko Batista will be presenting new intermedia performances at Kino Udarnik at 8:30 p.m.
